Wifi usb cuts out my broadband internet

hi there

i was just wondering why does my wifi usb when i plug it in to my computer cut out my internet. it also cuts my windos live messenger but if im signed in then plug in the usb msn still works then IE and fire fox cuts out.

do you have your firewall up ? it could be blocking it mabye ?

one thing you could do is drop your firewall and plug it in. if it doesnt cut out firefox/IE/MSN live then the firewall is your problem

but its a very bad idea to leave your firewall turned off.

i take it that you have installed everything from the WiFi CD? or has your anti-virus classed it as a virus or something??
