Ok...

i hav got myself the wifi usb connector... ive done all the instructions like turning off my anti virus/ fire walls...

i got it working once then i turned off the computer (well im not sure what really happend) and it would not work... I uninstall the divce/drivers from my comp. Re-started it from scratch then the wii finds the connector then connection test...

then shit creek happens... error code 52140


ive searched up the code and all i find is ppl having the same problem.... i try doing what they get told what to do... doesnt help...


NOW theres another problem... when i plug in the connector into my computer... Internet explorer then doesnt want to connect :@

so the internet dc from my computer but unless im on msn which keeps the conection alive. But still no IE or firefox...

im coming to think ive wasted my money... coz i hope not lol. I have a router but its not compadiable >.<

(ps.. my anti virus is Trend micro pc cillion... ive also got the hijack program if that might help in a way)

This is one reason why the Wi-Fi adapter has been discontinued by Nintendo.

Indeed, the Wii wifi adapter was a horrible solution which is no longer made nor supported by Nintendo.

The money would've been better put towards a wireless router, which would give you added benefits and far-fewer problems.

Sharing with who? If you mean outsiders then you desperately need security lessons (no offense) because it is trivially easy to secure a wireless connection and takes less than 1 minute per device.

na, i wasn't talking about that. it sounds like the OP has a problem with internet sharing setting on his computer. and by the way, i leave my wireless free. hell, the name of the signal is 'steal this wireless'
i really don't care he gets a hold of it.
