How do i register friend codes?

Hi,
I've added a number of friend codes for brawl and mario kart. but i don't seem to be getting any friends(save the jokes please )

when you register someones FC, does my wii send a message to their wii to notify them of my request along with the FC?

They have to register you as well. Until then they'll appear as a [?].

No, you must manually exchange codes with your friend.

Yes, yes it is. Just give people a simple PM if you are adding them from here and you will more than likely get friends quick, if this is the way you are looking to do it.
