Had wireless connection....Now I don't
When I setup my Wii a few days ago it found my wireless router and connected automatically. I even went online and played a game of Super Smash Bros Brawl. Also pulled up News and Forecast channels and went in to Wii Shopping.
Today I try to connect and it says it can't connect to the internet.
When I try to configure my internet connection it finds my wireless access points, but wont connect when I test the connection.
Any ideas?

the exact same thing happened to me today...
I was using my wii perfectly fine last night, and when I woke up this morning, it wouldn't connect. Nothing has changed overnight...

Sometimes if the connection is not strong, you can only get online 50% of the time. Is your router far away from the Wii?

It shows a good signal strength. Green and full bars.
Ironically, I am picking up my neighbors network and it shows a red bad signal. I tried to connect to it and it did! Is that strange or what?
It must be something related to the setup of my network but I didnt change anything since it worked the other day.
Any other ideas? WEP is not set up on my network router and no firewall. The other computers on my network are accessing the internet fine.

Good call with the phone but it is somewhat random for a cordless phone to operate at wifi frequency these days (however not unheard of, so test!) If nothing has changed try pulling the plug/turning back on the router. Do the same for the Wii. If it is still not working try at random times of the day and see what happens. Most likely it is Nintendo being busy since I get this sometimes also at peak hours.

I got this resolved.
I setup my Internet connection manually.
Not sure why it worked when I first set it up but all is well that ends well.
This is the thread that solved it for me.
Thanks!
