ok im having trouble connecting to the internet on the wii i need lots of help it tells me i need the ssid idk how to find it also need help trying to manual setup

From the main Wii screen click the bottomleft Wii icon
click Wii settings
click right twice
click internet
click connection settings
click new connection
search for access point
click through the screens to set up your connection.

SSID is what your router is named, when you search for an access point with the Wii it will be this name that pops up. Have the Wii try to set itself up auto, if it works if not post back with what you need next, specifically. Auto will work unless there is security involved, no need to do it manually.
