i have a usb adapter, and it was workin fine a few nights ago, but now it's not. i've probably reinstalled it 50 times in the past day, but it isn't working. it says it can't connect to the server, and i've entered the error codes at support.nintendo and it none of them really apply to me. i dont know what to do and i'd really like to get it working for wiiware

It could be Nintendo's server being busy, try at random times of the day. I am not a USB pro, but after reinstalling it that many times with nothing else changing I would look towards getting a new adapter. If you feel something has changed go back and redo all of your connection settings.

Also, if you have people in closeish proximity to you, try searching for a wireless connection to make sure it isn't the Wii network controller, you don't have to connect, just search.

You could also try pulling the plug/plugging back in the Wii so it will fully reset, wait around 90sec before plugging back in Nintendo says.

Just to be sure, we are talking about the wireless usb access point attached to your computer correct? (not the lan adapter)

If so, make sure Windows Defender is off/allowing the usb connection. If you recently updated to Vista sp1 this could be the case, as it turned my Windows Defender back on.
