Wii Connection problems

HELP!!! I have bought a Netgear WPN824 wireless router. I have gone through the set up and the Wii finds the access port.However,it fails when connecting to the internet.
MY Daughters laptop connects the the internet via the router ok.Does this mean that I have a problem with the Wii???

CAN ANYONE HELP??.........PLEASE!!

u using any security on in???

i have 2 different routers with no security and both work fine with the wii.

my netgear wont work with the nintendo ds for some reason???
