Default HELP! Thomson 585 v6 Speedtouch router

Firstly, any advice needs to be super simple, because when it comes to matters of IT I am super simple!

I have a wii which I can't connect to the internet. Boohoo! I have manually filled in the IP and DNS details which I obtained by going into command prompt and ipconfig/all. presumably this is the right place to get the IP address and DNS info?

However, its still not connecting. I've tried to find the access control list for the router but have failed. Any tips as to what to do next gratefully received. The Nintendo wii site isn't really simple enough for me to understand!

Thank you thank you!

Have you got anything else connected to that router wirelessly such as a computer/laptop, DS etc?
