RIGHT!
I bought a USB WI Fi Connector and it installed perfectly and it located not only my wii but my DS as well. But as soon as i went to test the connection it brings up different error codes including 52140 51340 and iv been told to edit various settings on my firewall but iv pretty much turned my firewall off and its still not making any difference. The same with my Anti virus firewall and still no difference. My router dosnt have any perticuler applications on it to edit to let it through so i really dont no...
please can someone help me as i want to buy games on shopping channel!
Much Appreciated

The Nintendo Wifi connector was a buggy, problematic product that was long ago discontinued by Nintendo. No doubt because of all the issues. It's no longer supported. See if you can return it.
The money spent on it would've been better put towards an inexpensive wireless router, which would not only avoid all the above problems but provide numerous additional benefits.

Well of course the documentation is still going to list it. But it was discontinued November 2007.
Make your wireless router work. It'd be far-easier and a better solution once you're done. The USB wifi adapter, even once working, is a complicated hack vulnerable to many issues.
