what steps you went through, be more detailed...
have you turn on wiiconnect 24? are you connected to a wireless router? can you go to the shop channel? etc

change the Wii settings and try changing the last two numbers on the IPaddress by 10.
E.G if your IPADDRESS is 10.132.10.20
change to:
10.132.10.30 and see if this works.
to see if they are talking make the settings on the Wii exactly the same as the PC (Via Static IP and see if you get an error on the PC saying there is a conflict with another device)
if there is, changing the IPADDRESS will help

i tried static ip now but didnt help, but does it matter that the wii changes the ip i set? since i doesnt have 3 numbers in every colum, it inputs "0" there.
on both the ip, subnet mask and router. even though i input the numbers i want it just fills in with "0" the places i dont have 3 digits

no, this doesnt matter, the Wii will prefix a single digit number with the required number of zero's to make each section read as 3 characters.
Have you got Dynamic IP on your PC and then set the Static IP on the Wii? or have you set the PC up for Static IP?
keep the IP dynamic make a note of the IPaddress, DNS etc from "ipconfig/all" and then input everything EXACTLY the same as the PC but change ONLY the last two digits of the IP address by 10...
let me know how you get on

i dont have static IP on my PC,
and is "default router" on the Wii the DNS?
thats what i did, i used the same gateway and mask and changed the last nr on the ip to 10 higher, from 12 on my PC to 22 on my Wii. it didnt help. i just dont understand why it wont work, i have my PC and xbox on the same with no problems. but i just cant get the Wii to work. been trying for months

2.click status
3.click support
4.copy the default gateway ip address on the internt browser
5. if you havent create a password it should be admin
6.there should be a wireless option, click it
7.change the channel into 1 or 11, is it is in 1 change it to 11 or the way around. let me know

Get a USB extension cable and put the USB wireless adapter in a better location.
If you really wanted you could get a 25 foot USB extension with built in signal booster and run the damn USB cord across the room to get an even stronger signal on the Wii.
If that still isnt enough get a strainer from an Asian grocery store to make the wireless adapter more directional.
