Iv heard about alot of people saying that the wiiconnect24 service doesn't offer instant messaging. I did a seriers of tests over a 2 week period and each time a message averaged about 2 minutes to get to the destination. I read that one guy reported 2:30 minutes. It was faster than I expected but still not instant.
