I'm trying to connect my wii to my D-Link WBR-1310 wifi router. Im using a 128-bit SHARED key to encrypt my connection. Im unable to connect my wii. i get an error of 52030

Can anyone help ?

If that doesn't work, try switching to a 64 bit wep key. Seeing as how a 128 bit is a bit overkill.

@Blips -

I spent two hours yesterday trying to connect with 128 bit WEP and couldn't get anywhere.

Eventually, I had to *downgrade* my router firmware (!), switch to WPA Pre-Shared Key (which I am told is more secure than WEP anyhow), and switch from short preamble to long preamble.

You may also want to follow the usual advice too - choose channel 1 or 11, and set to "mixed/both" mode (different routers call it different things).

Update :

Got it working now. I changed my encryption to a wpa passphrase encryption. Wii now is connected fine. thnx for your guy's help.
