...I need to go and buy a wireless cable router this morning so (my friend can use his laptop) and I can connect my Wii.

Are there any that 'dont work' with the Wii (can't see that really as its just a wireless access point right?)

I'm UK and looking to spend up to £50... I hate PC World but it's local and sometimes can get decent prices if you buy on the web and pick up in store

as long as u use a b/g router any router should be fine!

hey I have the belkin adsl modem with wirless g router (it does "b" too though) runs at 54mbps. it works with the wii and they have 24hr free help so if you get stuck u can call they will help. i think is was around £50 in pc world

Sounds good mate... yeah it's 46.40 - sorted I'll order one of those I guess and pick it up in a bit (unless anyone can tell me this other linksys is any better cause they're similar price ... links below)

My mate has the same make as second one not sure if its exactly the same, it hasn't been tried it with a wii it works with the ds so it should work with wii

plus its faster and cheaper

Update - I got the belkin one, set up in my room no prob then a few mins later my Wii was updating
