does anyone know if or when The famous "james bond" game for n64 will come out as a emulator

if you mean on the virtual console then no no one knows but nintendo is doing there best to get goldeneye on the virtual console activision holds the rights i think rare does not same with dk rare doesn't hold the rights so dk will be on the virtual console for sure becasue nintendo holds the rights to it.

I really hope that it does end up coming to the virtual console as it was and always will be my favourite N64 game. Whether or not I will buy it, I don't know. Is there any point if I still own the game?

Yes, because you don't have to play it on he N64, instead you can play it whilst thinking 'hmmm, I might play on Zelda now'
