How Do You Use Emulators?

i want to know how, so i can play donkey kong 64 before it comes out on the vc :S, please teach me. if its ilegal to say or whatever, just pm me haha, thnks

i just downloaded project 64 1.6, how would i be able to play a game or something on it?

The N64 emulators sucked pretty badly. Nothing like the Zsnes. You'll just have to wait for better emulators or do what I did and keep your N64 hooked up.

that's why i want to play donkey kong, i remember i got my n64 in grade 2, and it was the donkey kong bundle, and it was so much fun, but like in.. grade 4 my dog chewed the cable that plugged into the wall, so i could nrever play it again, but recently ive been craving to play some donkey kong 64, and thats why i got an emulator :S, so i just downloaded a ROM of it, and i want to know how it works? if anyone can answer this, thank you.

I've only tried Project64 and the DK64 rom sucked on it the last time I played.
