I want to purchase Nintendo Wii virtual console games which I owned decades ago and I don't remember their titles. They run on the NES or the SNES. One game features Mario and has quicksand and waterfalls. I believe this game is either Super Mario Bros. 2 or Super Mario Bros. 3, but I'm unsure. The other one involves a levitating princess. Thank you for your responses in advance.

I'm pretty sure Mario 2 has both of these. If you're talking about where you can choose characters and use the princess. However Mario 2 and 3 are currently not on VC.

Yes, the game is definitely Super Mario Bros. 2. Does Nintendo plan on releasing the game for the Nintendo Wii's virtual console feature? If Nintendo does plan on releasing it, when do you predict the game will be released for virtual console?
