Well truly i would never buy a singe atari game because there are games that you get 70 atari games in one disk!!! But if they wanted to release atari onto there console here is a thing they could try!! They should relase an online portion of the game!!! i bet they would get lots of buyers if the atari game was online!!! I would buy it then!!! Would this be a good idea or not!!!
Please post here if you think it is a good idea or bad idea!!!
so does no one like my idea of having online atari games? Well if you like my idea post here
Also if you would like to see online atari on the wii virtual console please post here and hopefully we can get enough people to agree with the idea that nintendo will release it!
They can't get Atari. The last time I checked, they sold a lot of their games to places like Midway, Namco. These games like you said are packed onto a single CD. You could buy the entire collection for $50. Nintendo would probably get a few like Pacman, but they'd probably outright avoid the console. If you want Atari 2600 look for XBL modified versions.
Here's some background history of the first console wars. Tetris became a very big deal and many argue was the begining of Atari's downfall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QD098LVZI0

Atari could probably release the games that were on that Playstation 2 compilation or the ones on their Flashback 2 system. Check this out. You can modify that Flashback 2 system so it can play the original carts. Pretty cool.
