Need Neo-Geo player input.
I want to try out my first Neo-Geo VC game later today. I'm not big into fighters, but both Blue's Journey and Magical Lord look awesome. Currently I'm leaning towards Magical Lord after watching the videos but I'm still undecided.
If you have played both of these games, what are there strong points, weak points. Do you like them? Which would you prefer. Any advice will be considered. Thanks. |

Id say go with Blues Journey as magical lord is annoying (enemys can be hard to hit and tend to lurck near ladders)
And Blues Journey has a coop option

Thanks for the replies, I ended up getting Magical Lord. I am quite happy with my first NeoGeo game.
It's a side-scrolling beat'em up where you get upgraded weapons and sometimes turn into a dragon/demon looking creature that breathes fire. The game has a decent amount of difficulty. Took me a couple tries to beat the first level. Also, NeoGeo games like N64 games on the VC don't have the auto-save feature. So if you want to beat it you will have to do it in one sitting like how it was at the arcade. Not sure if there's a save system in game, if there is I haven't found it yet. The music and graphics are good, controls work well. I use just the Wiimote to play this one, which is often my favorite way to play. Not to shabby...
