Can someone please tell me if there is a way to play NES Tetris on the Wii?

Either a game I can buy or on the virtual console.

I would expect them to release it as wiiware some time in late 08/09. Dr. Mario with online has already been confirmed for early 08, so I imagine you'll be able to get it on the wii some time as well.

And, if it doesn't, you could always play it on... well, just about anything you wanted to.

Tetris is on every console ever (some have the game but diffrent name)

So why whould it come out on the wii ?
Just get it for your phone at least that way it can be played on the bog

Just get it on your phone or the internet or something. There's a good chance a VC release won't happen.

theres one on wiicade.com playable from wii and you could use the arrows and 1,2 buttons its pretty cool

Yeah, you can even play Tetris on Facebook and compete with your friends.

I've also been playing a Flash version called Quad Tetris which is an interesting variant.
