Question about the classic controller and super mario world
Ok well I have a GameCube controller and Super Mario World and it is compatible for the game. However, the biggest pain is that I have to press B to jump and X to run.
![]() If I bought a classic controller, would the jump button be the bottom of the 4 main buttons and the run button on the left? I'm more used to that way and my GameCube controller is a pain to use for this game... EDIT: NVM, FORGOT TO READ OPRATIONS GUIDE! IT ANSWERED MY QUESTION.

after hours of research (ok, maybe 2 min :P ) the classic controller uses the same button configuration as the SNES controller. the Y button is the grab, throw fire balls, and dash button. The B button is the jump button. And the A button is the spinning jump.
It is nothing like the Game Cube controller. It's exactly like you're playing an SNES. |

That was one of my first reasons I got a classic controller. The gamecube controller was aggrivating to control. You won't regret buying you a classic controller. The button configuration is great, it's worth the 20 bucks, especially if you have quite a bit of VC games.
