one of my favorite N64 games
that multiplayer was a beast

if you ask me, what Microsoft should do to make both companies happy would be redoing games such as banjo, Perfect Dark and Golden Eye and add new levels to them or something. Then after they released that Nintendo can launch the classic version. Microsoft would be happy since they released it first with extra content so they will be thinking they get more money. And Nintendo will be happy that they can release the games they had on the 64. Of course Microsoft would get the better in this deal, but at least Nintendo can finally have them on VC.

So there will be some for the 360 and the wii:

360:
-first to bring it out so people owning both console probably get it from them
-they have more stuff in the game so people will by since its more bang for the buck

wii:
-Release the games that they've been trying to release
-They will release the "classic version"

The funny thing is, MS havent really gained anything from acquiring RARE.
The point being is the 360 is not aimed at kids whereas RAREs greatest games are aimed at the "casual"/younger audience.

So games like Banjo 3, will go unnoticed on the 360. Hell most of the games that RARE has made under MS sux.

Anyway thats my rant.

Anyway i am sure DK64 is possible on the VC, heres a little piece of info "Funky Kong" (the monkey in DK64 that sells you the weapons and upgrades for them) is a playable character in Mario Kart WII. This could be hinting at something but it does further clear who does own what characters/franchises

Conkers Bad Fur Day, will never hit VC due to MS owning RARE but if it was to appear on there, there wouldnt be online play.

Nintendo isnt going to add anything extra to any of the VC games, unless its bugfixes.

well what about megaman i mean i know he`s capcom but i haven`t heard about any megaman games at all

As far as i know Nintendo are pretty close with Capcom didnt nintendo outsource Starfox Assault to Capcom?

Capcom is listed as third party support on the VC contributers list, also megaman is owned by Capcom and noone else. I can see this happening.
