Due to an increase in threads asking for what games people should buy on Vitual Console, I've decided to create this thread to reduce the number of similar threads in this section.

HI, my mum is finally going to get some Wii points for me (i have the money, she just don't give it back to me) and now i want some advice on the best VC games at the current moment.
i've got some opinions from differnt people and i've striked out the games that people said are bad, correct me if i'm wrong.

i made a small list of games that i saw, that i thought were pretty good( and i'm going to try and buy about 3k points)

NES: Donkey kong(orignal), Super mario 1/2/3(which one is better?) and are the old zelda games good?

Nintendo 64: Kirby 64(just brought, i love it, and took 2 weeks to finish), Lylat wars(good?), Yoshi's story(i played this once, thought it was ausome!), Zelda: Ocania of time

Super Nintendo: Diddy kong(is that a good game?)

Sega Mega/super drive: Alex Kidd(they said there's a better one coming out), Golden Axe(what one?), Wonder boy(i saw that it is a brand new one, and it is on the popular list)

Turbografx: Bomberman 93
that's my list, what are the best one's i could get?

and also, i want to get the wii-net just want someone's opinion if it's worth it or not...

Just as a small ask(i don't want to beg) but i was wondering if anyone could send me a 500 point game(NES) as a gift? doubt anyone will though

golden axe 3-is this one any good? i have golden axe 1 and 2 on sega but i never tryed 3.

breathe of fire 1 or 2-what is this game about? i heard its a RPG? is it a good rpg?

comix zone-i liked this game back when i use to play it.

yoshi's island-is that any good?

any other games anyone can recemend? i would like to play an RPG and some 2 player games. some 1 player games will be fine but i only have 1700 points.

Golden Axe 3: Avoid. Sega themselves didn't consider it good enough to be worth releasing outside Japan.

BoF 2: It's a fairly good RPG. Not the best, but certainly worth a look.

Yoshi's Island: Ain't out on VC yet. If you're referring to Yoshi's Story, I have no idea how good that is.

If you're looking for a good RPG, get Paper Mario.

Breath of Fire 1 isn't out yet on vc.

I'm hoping to maybe get some more games when I get more points in a month or two

Kid Icarus - Never got past stage 1-2 - Enjoyed what I could do :3
Mario Bros - Played every now and again - Enjoyed
Mario Bros 3 - Only got round to doing first world - Very fun
Double Dragon - Got far, not sure how far - Had lots of fun with this
Megaman 2 - Up to Wilys Castle - Loving this game
The legend of zelda - Just started - Enjoying this

ActRaiser - Up to the first boss...>_< - Enjoyed but hard =/
The Legend of Zelda; A link to the past - Nearly got Master sword - loving this game currently

StarFox 64 - Finished- One of my all time favourite games

Ok, I haven't played my Wii in forEVER, and when I log in today, I see a lot more new games. The amount of points it costs doesn't matter.

I want something thats addictive, and along the lines of either a Puzzle/Strategy, Sim, or RPG that I won't get bored of in 30 minutes.

you should check out Dr. Mario Online!

I think Pop is a pretty good one.
