I'm really into both series right now, but with Wiiware coming up; I think i'm limited to just one game for now.
So I was wanting some opinions:
Should I get Sonic 3 or DKC 3? Which one do you think is better, and why?

I would pick dkc 3 i really like all the dk's sonic not so much.

well my favorite dkc is 2 so id pick sonic 3 if i had to pick out of the two

Rather than buying Sonic 3 on the VC, get this instead: Sonic Mega Collection

Amongst other good games it has the complete version of Sonic 3 (i.e. Sonic 3 and Knuckles).

Hmm sonic 3 or DKC.
i would have to go wth DKC on that maybe if Sonic and Knuckles was in then it would be sonic and knuckles.

Ah. Sorry about that. I forgot to mention the ones I already have. I do have the first and second DKC, but I wasn't sure how good the third one is.

And I also have the second Sonic. (I'm really not sure why I skipped the first one.)

OK then get Sonic.
DKC 3 is a good game but it lacks the fun the other two provide.
