It's WiiWare, but my most regretted purchase is 'Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King'. Sweet Jesus, what a boring, repetitive, meaningless game. Total waste of $15. And the cutesy Japanese characters nauseated me.
If I could go back in time and assassinate myself at any point, it would be the point where I purchased this game.
good thing I haven't bought that game! I got Dr Mario on WiiWare = Amazing! Paper Mario I think I played for two minutes ... I never played it before, and I have not gotten into it like I thought I would.

Here is to removing useless information from sigs, i.e. "games I own," "SSBB characters I play as," "my favorite food"
Im gonna go out on a limb and say my most regretted game i got is Super Metroid. To start off with i had to follow a guide at just about every turn so i would know where to go and what to do. (no matter how much searching i did i always would get stuck so off to the walkthrough i would go) and then...not very far into the game i still get stuck. According to the most extensivly written walkthrough im suppose to go a certain way and i just really cant. All there is-is a pit of lava and a tiny hole to go through on the other side that is raised up a little. No matter what i do i cant get past it. I just end up in the lava or on the perch b4 it looking to the other side...no way around this and its where im suppose to be/go...8 bucks wasted and i never even play it anymore.
lmao. I agree with the super metroid thing, that game is effing hard to beat without walkthroughs. But I still enjoyed the epic boss fights...games today don't have fights like that. The fight against Ridley is the best boss fight ever.
As for games I regret, I really don't have any...I guess the one I like the least is Star Fox because it can get difficult and I hate goddam slippy asking for help every two seconds. Stupid frog.
Games back then really were harder. I also recall there were no memory cards or even passwords for some, so for some games it was hell having to beat it in one go. I was never able to beat Sonic 2 when I was a kid because of this, but now I finally can.

I loved Sonic 2 when I was younger, that was probably the game I played the most as a kid. And the furthest I could ever get in it was to the end of Metropolis Zone, and I would die fighting Robotnik there.
Nothing that I've downloaded on VC has really been worth it, other than Breath of Fire II. Other than that, I have Sim City, Super Mario 64, A Link to the Past, and Ice Climbers. Sim City I just plain hate. Super Mario 64 is just a harder, less fun, less cool version of Super Mario Galaxy. A Link to the Past I still really want to play, just haven't gotten around to it. And Ice Climbers is just the kind of game I'll play for a few minutes if I'm really bored.
