How do we all feel on this topic? Will the VC ever be fully completed?

There is some games that might not make it and the new console may be out before the vc is finished...lots of factors against it but you never know...your thoughts?

It's almost certainly impossible. Some companies have gone bust, others are unwilling to support the Virtual Console, and there's other reasons too (e.g.: http://www.wiichat.com/nintendo-wii-...coming-vc.html). The best we can hope for is that Nintendo, Sega, Hudson, etc. can at least release their entire back-catalogues (and something tells me they won't).

We will eventually get 95% of all VC games. The 5% will be games like Golden Eye, Bionic Commando, and anything else XBL already has, like TMNT 2. However this will span across two Nintendo consoles. The Wii will probably end with 30%-50% of the available library and the next console will continue it. Reggie mentioned at E3 that they will allow you to carry over your Wii data to your next console when they launch it. Nintendo is NEVER letting go of VC. They will drag this feature out for a while. The minus is we have to wait 5-10 years to get most of the games we want.

Due to the amount of "Licence hell™" games and Rare (as in the company) ones I say no

But to be truthfull wii dont need/want 100% of all games on every console as most are shite

am i the only one here who doesnt really like wii ware? (so far i mean) i'd much have my old classics be released..

It's not like VC is going to be abandoned. Personally, I like that they're releasing both old and new games.

the one game i would really like is Goldeneye:oo7 (N64), but i heard rare is owned by microsoft so the 360 is getting it for download!!!

It's not Golden Eye I'm really worried about, it's the BK series. My N64 controllers won't last forever. :/
