Virtual Console games on HD tv

So I'm thinking of getting Super Mario RPG for the Wii but I dont want to buy it only for it to look bad on my tv. For the 360 they make the screen smaller so everything can look great. So all in all the main question is do Virtual Console games look good on HD tvs? Or am I going to have to play the games on a regular tv so I can enjoy them.

They are stretched, but as long as you don't sit too close to the TV it doesn't really matter.

Do you have an aspect ratio button to alter the settings?

I went ahead and bought Mario RPG anyway and it doesn't look to bad.

It won't matter, however Wii games will look crappy on HD's without the composite cables.
