No VC games this week, only a Wiiware title by the name of Actionloop Twist. Apparently it's a remake of a DS puzzler.
Sigh. I've pretty much given up on the Virtual Console by now. We haven't had a single SNES game since March, we're overloaded with shooters, and one game a week is just poor. Quit slacking off, Nintendo!

I told you guys the same team that releases VC games works to a major degree on localizing Wiiware titles. That means while Japan is still getting 3-5 games a week, we are getting next to nothing in Europe and the USA. Nintendo needs to hire more people to work on VC, and I have no god damn clue why they haven't hired new VC employees in over 9 months. Check their website and see for yourself. They aren't hiring anyone for the vital positions of localizing VC titles.

Basicly, go back and read every post Ive ever written ranting about what a bunch of c*cksuckers nintendo has been this entire time with the Wii.
Ive never been so disapointed with a system and its bull shit promises in my life.....Most of the games suck and are too easy, online sucks, VC sucks, You have to buy $300 in periferels, Miis suck, Japanese business men who sleep in dresser droors suck, MAdden for Wii SUCKED with its gimick bullshit controls not working AT ALL, Super Paper Mario was made for 3 year old kids and has an annoying BBBEEP BBEEP BEEP BEEEP when anyone talks, Tiger woods sucks (not even swinging the club yet at critical moment in game, and you either tap the ball one inch or whale on it, all before your actual stroke), red steel looked like an N64 game, My wii shut down because the bad venting under neath (I thought it was broken for good but I blew compressed air through the vent and it works now, so watch for overheating and improper ventilation)......Oh, they release SFII Champion edition when there are 50 good street fighters, and instead of releasing games we want, they trickle the next 4 street fighters out, so you buy all of them, and we dont get new games. Im sick of the menu music, Im sick of the little pictures telling me not to punch my mom in the face while playing Tetris. Im sick of them saying the wii will replace the computer (??????) when all its good for is checking the weather. and most of all WHY THE **** DID THEY **** UP BATTLE MODE ON MARIO KART WII?????????????????????????????? (also, why isnt there block fort?).Teams are for 4 year old noobs. Oh, and the Online for MKwii is like its from the early 90's.............so dumb and flawed, no lobbies, and everytime somone leaves, your group gets smaller until you are 1 on 1............are they ****ing stupid? how many games have been put online and they have to try their own style, which is not even as close to as good as 15 year old games like Diablo and Wolf ET online. I know, they dont like online so we are "lucky" right? well, the other systems and my pc havent had a problem with UTILIZING TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE with online.....
Nintendo is retrograding to a retarded, non-online-with bad graphics system for children. If thats what I wanted, I would buy a Learning Leap Frog like they sell at Toys R Us. But what I wanted, was what those assholes promised me, which is the OPPOsite of everything I just listed.....Next Nintendo ad I see bragging about all of the things I mentioned and their bullshit lies, Iam wadding up and sticking in someones mouth. I wasted 12 hours the other day on civilization4, (I havent done that in a long time), and I was pissed at myself afterwards. It felt like it took a whole chunk out of my week. Still playing catch up, so much crap to do. I banished the disk to a forgotten realm behind my desk.

Some time ago, I may indeed have said to "stop whining" (I'd never defend Nintendo to the death though). But now, I've grown weary of the Virtual Console. Not counting Wiiware, I haven't bought a single new game since December, and nowadays we're lucky to see 3 releases in a week (something that used to be standard). I appreciate that there are legal issues with some games (e.g. Rare's back catalogue), or some developers just don't want to support the VC (e.g. Square), but Nintendo are holding back on their own games. Here in the PAL territories we haven't seen a SNES game since March, three months ago!
I don't want to see a reduction in games for the other consoles (on the contrary, I hope they keep it up- the more, the merrier), I just want to see more games. I've already taken up "alternatives" in the cases where certain games are unlikely to ever reach the VC, and the temptation is increasing to simply get everything else I want as well. Well anyway, I should stop now, lest I end up like Conan. So, that's my rant over.

Nintendo's new weakness isn't online gaming anymore. It's Virtual Console. Nintendo has waged a war with Microsoft on retaining their classic games. Instead of mutual gain(Golden Eye on both consoles), they prefer scorched Earth policies(No one gets Golden Eye).
