Friday the 13th, unlucky for some, but fortunately Nintendo have seen fit to subvert our expectations and released five games. Amongst them, two more C64 games, two more Neo Geo fighters (because the Virtual Console is in dire need of new Neo Geo fighters, I guess?) and at long last, another Master System game.

All in all, a pretty decent week I'd say. Shame that we still don't have any new SNES games, but with 5 games this week I'm not so bothered.

Oh, and no Wiiware again this week. I assume VC and Wiiware are going to be released in alternating weeks from now on for Europe (even though the Americans get them together...).

Note: the version of Alex Kidd released here is the original version, not the one that came built-in to some later models of the Master System.
