Selling Wii. Can I keep the VC games on it?

I was hoping to sell my Wii soon and was wanting to delete any personal info off the wii but it said if I remove my wii shop profile that all the VC games I have purchased will be erased or unusable. Is this true? Can I not keep the VC games on the HD when I sell my Wii? I was hoping to get a bit more cash by selling those games with the Wii. I spent 10,000 wii points on games when I first got my Wii and I will not be happy if that just goes away.

From what I've read on here, the VC and WiiWare games are linked to your specific Wii itself thru your shop channel account. You cannot download them on a different Wii.

just copy them onto an sd card and then delete the channels on the wii
then just sell the sd card

there is no profile for wii shop channel.
i think you can delete all the channels(except wii shop ) and mii's .. and you can still keep VC games since its registed to your wii code.
