Default Nintendo VC titles
I'm interested in two NES titles and I'm wondering if you've heard anything about when they might be released on the Virtual Console. One of my favorite games in the past was Final Fantasy (the original) and my wife can't wait for Tetris to be re-released. Have you heard any word on either of these titles?

I was thinking about buying The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Is it worth it? I heard that it was a GREAT game, but I wouldn't know.

Ocarina of Time was one of only (yes, this may be wrong) two console games on ign.com to recieve a 10/10 (The other being Soul Caliber), even Halo didn't score that. So yes, I definately say its worth the 10 dollars. I wish they sold master quest though :/

I really want Super Smash Bros (N64) to be downloadable for the Wii, my friend had it for his N64 and I loved it... that game plus Zelda got me into Nintendo that’s right it wasn’t Mario although I do like him... but anyways got Melee, Pre-ordered Brawl, and I just want them to bring out the first one of the series because that’s what got me into it

Old post, but I thought I'd post an answer for Tetris.

I remember looking up some info about Goldeneye (anyone know when this will be released?!) and in the same article it mentioned that they would have to secure the rights for Goldeneye, and Tetris, which did surprise me. I was always under the impression that Tetris was a Nintendo thing, or that could just be me being an arrogant ****.

The legal situation regarding Tetris is far too complicated for us mere mortals to understand. I think it has something to do with it being developed in Russia (which was a communist country at the time) so its creator couldn't copyright it. What I do know is there's been a ton of legal battles and a lot of developers have released their own versions for pretty much every console since the NES. There was a TV program on the BBC about the whole legal mess a few years back.

i havnt got my Wii online yet but was wondering, has there been any news on a Goldeneye release??
that is one of my all time favourite games.

once im online im looking forward to getting any mario kart games and punch out/super punch, much fun when i was young.
