I heard they are going to make little adapter type things that plug into the GameCube spot on the Wii, and then you will be able to plug your NES, SES, N64, Sega and so on. Projected price was around 10$-15$.

Just in case you aren't aware. . .Ristar is an unlockable in the Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube.

I did since I own it thats why I only buy games that
1) you can get for a regulor system (not handheld) becuase Golden axe is on the GB but I cant play that on your Wii so I got it anyway becuase I liked the co-op
2)I'll get any game like Star Fox, Mario Kart and other muliplayer games that I liked,

I have a feeling that games that make the list early on are ones that are easy for nintendo to get the rights to sell

ristar for example was a product of the original sonic the hedgehog design phases

What country are you in? Becuase its not the USA. I just went to the store (becuase I would have got it if was there)
But I hope DKC comes out soon thats the games I want not the old Mario, DK and Zelda that I can just go to a site and play.

Yea, turns out only Aus got DK Country so far. They got that and we didn't. The US has Sim City and Aus doesn't. Not entirely sure why but hopefully both places will have the same games. Check out the comparison of the games that are released in the US to the games released in the UK:

yeah ive been had on the old school mario game for the nes, didnt realize the word "super" was not in it so I ended up purchasing a vc game that i didnt want......it's decent but I expected the super mario bros. game at launch, sigh........so depressed ;_;

yeah i downloaded the mario game thought i would be doin some turtle tricks but instead got the mario i didnt like lol well baught a 2gig memory thingy fornothing didnt know u couldnt save those vc games on it lol

You can save VC games to it, just can't play them from it. thats all. If you want to play them, you have to copy them back to the Wii. Its kinda lame but then again there are only 48 channels as of now, and if you buy more than that amount of channels you can switch channels and stuff.

There seems to be quite a bit of variations depending on your region. I live in Vancouver, Canada and all those titles are available for me. DK Country in Austrailia? Im jelous. I think the current VC list is a joke. Less Turbo Graphics "16" (its actually an 8 bit system) and more SNES please.
