That's great for the media. Although I haven't had a problem yet with DVDR or DVDR DL media getting scratched up. Mostly just depends on how well you take care of your stuff I guess. Although that is pretty cool.

Well if it does fail these Blue Rays will be around in land fills longer than CDs and DVDs. Great work Sony.

lol nice.
they put some work into the durability at least. although i have even dvds with alot of scratches and it works fine.
