It's amazing how the tides can turn so quickly. A couple of months before Xmas the PS3 was the savior and Wii was that 3rd-rate cheap thing with the controller that you wave around. Now, a few months later everything is different. I love technology

Sony can't price drop without massive profit loss. If you think the PS3 will price drop more than $100 you don't know Kaz Hirai. He's all about feeding the rich elite gamer. Sony also has a lot of money to keep the PS3 afloat easily with what they have for the next 4 years. Sony will probably stay the current path because they can.

This will not be the 'damiz' of Sony. Do you know how much money they have? Is the PS3 out in Europe? No. In the UK we are seriously big Playstation fans, I'm not being a fanboy here I own a 360 and Wii and love them both.

The PS3 will do well, just not now. The Wii is killing it right now, it certainly is. But nobody can deny the PS3 isn't powerful and people will want to buy it, maybe not now but maybe in a years time?

Sony aren't just going to drop the PS3 after a few months of poor sales. Give it some time, the PS3 will bounce back.

PS3 will bounce back when FF-XIII, FF-VS XIII, MGS4, DMC4 and Heavy Rain come out.

In fact, when those games come out I'm buying a PS3. It simply isn't selling well at the moment because the price is too high and there really aren't enough quality titles to justify spending that much just yet.

But Sony is far from finished.

Why do you all post your opinions? We all know the facts and those with some intelligence will realise that Sony would never cease production of the PS3. Japan are huge Nintendo fans, Whereas here in the UK, we're huge PS3 fans. I have a Wii, I don't play it much right now, I'm waiting for March to come along, but when the PS3 is released, I assure you it won't flop anywhere near as badly as in America or Japan. Sorry to say, but although in terms of exchange rates, the PS3 is cheaper in the US, people in the UK are just..richer, the price of the PS3 won't have as much of an effect.

When its released in UK Sony will rake in millions so its not over yet.
