Resistance is an awesome game, online and campaign are both great. Me and my friend played through the campaign, he said that it was the best co-op he's played. I actually didn't enjoy COD4s single player, no depth to the story... Resistance was way better in that department.

For me, Resistance was a better package than COD4. COD4 had great multiplayer, but that was really it.

If you like Resistance of CoD4, then you are a Halo type guy.

CoD4 may not have story depth (it really isn't meant to be) but its way more immersive.

Resistance is more of an action shooter like Halo.

Then that means you must not like its story/world/guns. The only difference in Resistance vs Halo is basically its "setting"

They're both run n gun shooters, you jump around and strafe alot, you throw grenades alot, etc.

Thats all fun and stuff, but for me it gets old fast.

Thats why I won't bother buying UT3, Killzone 2, Haze, etc. etc.

Which btw, my brother is a PS3 fanboy (he admitted it) and he predicts Haze will suck. He also predicts Killzone 2 will be okay but nothing great. Somewhere around the 8's.

What do other people think about Haze/KZ2? I never cared since im not gonna buy it.

BUT I do like the story/guns and worlds on fall of man AND the shoot em up game play thats why it ranks higher then Halo on my list.

I never play FOM online but as someone made refrence to the grenades would get VERY old VERY fast but in the campain it never gets old to me.

CoD 4 is the best single player and resistance is the best multiplayer

I played a 20 minute demo of haze at pax with my friends and it was terrible. it was like a next generation remake of a mediocre PS2 FPS. the whole nectar thing was insanely stupid. it really made me sad cuz i totally thought this game was gonna pwn.

To me Haze looks like its going to be great. As for Killzone, it could go either way. I would settle for games being in the 8's. Its not bad.

I would agree regarding FPS on the PS3. Owning all of the big 3 consoles, I must admit, that it's a tie for me between Resistance and COD4. (My all time favorite FPS is STILL the Half Life series however).

As I have only owned my PS3 for a few months, I must admit, after playing GOW and all the Halo's, I was VERY surprised at how much I enjoyed Resistance. The gameplay is just plane fun, and the story keep you pushing through it.

So yeah, I think the PS3 has the best choices in this category for now. Now bring on some new RPG's for the darn thing, and I'll be really happy with it!

Halo has a completely different feel about it. Personally, I don't think it involves as much skill as COD4 or CS. But resistance doesn't involve too much skill either, an arguable comment, but I believe it's so.

If your brother is on the team developing either of those two games, then that's a fair judgement. If not, then he must be a time traveler. We'll see whether or not Killzone 2 and Haze are run and gun games.

You can tell what game is run n gun by video trailers. They show gameplay so its already been shown.

CS:Source is then by far the best Shooter ever created by man-kind. Infact, I'll play it now.

Thats opinion, besides the topic is about PS3...

and if you go by general public opinion then CS 1.6 is the best, not source.
