How do you make PS3 more brighter?

I got CoD4 on PS3 and 360 but the PS3 version is alot darker. Maybe its because its hooked up to a standard TV and 360 is hooked up to a plasma monitor, but is their anyway to make ps3 brighter?

PS3 Games: Resistance, WarHawk, MGS4, Uncharted, Assassins Creed, Vegas 2, Madden 09, GTA4, Condemned 2 and CoD4(But most of it is my bros).

go in your t.v. settings or your display setting maybe. but i find HDTVs are actually darker and harder to play on (on default settings) than regular tvs.
