Rock Band PS3 PS2

If i buy the PS3 bundle can I use the same instruments on a PS2 if I buy the PS2 disc?

i want to get it now but i know i'll be getting a PS3 so I should just get the PS3 version.

i highly doubt it but call the manufacturer up im sure only they could tell you.

if not just wait it out because it will get boring, i promise you, so just wait a little longer for it and youll be enjoying it longer.

by boring i mean repetitive.. it's a good game dont get me wrong but no game lasts for ever ( i already sold my copy of rock band lol )

i confirmed that the controlers work on both ps2 and ps3. you need a USB hub for the ps2 cause there isn't enough USB ports. i bought the bundle for ps2 and it came with a hub. now when i get a ps3 i only need to get the disc for Rockband for ps3.

oh well thats good news. how much is the ps2 bundle? same price or ten cheaper?
