lil Question about PS3 problem

My friend's PS3 is broken because his little brother putted it in a 220 power converter and putted that in another 220 power converter so now it's a 440, so you guys know what happened when he turned it on, puff.

so he wants to know is it fixable or not?

i told him it's not, but he doesn't want to lose hope for his PS3.
