Disgaea 3
This questions mainly aimed at darkprinny, lol.
Have you played Disgaea 3 yet mate? Is it worth importing, it looks pretty similar to the others.
Also did ya play Phantom Brave? If not it's awesome!

I have played/done allmost all ichs games on PS2 (ones not out in uk)
Disgaea 3 worth it if you like Disgaea
But I dont have a PStripple (see "no cash")

I played Disgaea. The first game was great, the price tag hurt. The second game was crap. They added in stuff like morals, and feelings, and stuff that doesn't belong in hell (the game takes place in hell). The third game continues that streak of WTF. The graphics are beyond dated, and it feels like they are humping that cash cow for all it's worth. If the game was $30 or less, I'd say go for it. Otherwise avoid it. The price tag is an outrage for what the game offers. This is one of those games you pick up on sale, and avoid at full price.

In a none offensive way
I liked all the bits they added in the secound
It made it have more depth
The only thing they realy need to add is a way to save mid battle
People that play Disgaea/Nippon ichi games care not for graphics
We just like to sit there for days playin it

Disgaea is using PS1 graphics. If you disagree, go play Breath of Fire 3 on the PS1. This game should be on the Wii at $30 or less. I will even go so far as to say this. If Nippon Ichi continues this path they won't be around in 2010. Too many RPG companies went out of business in the past because they became over specialized and afraid to change the formula.

Lol, the old graphics debate rears it's head, takes me back to the C=64 vs Speccy days. Disgaea was never about graphics though, it's two great points are that it's probably the best leveling up game ever, and the fantastic humour dooooood!
To say the company will go down is ludicrous because as far as I know as well as doing very well here within the niche type of game they are, their games are very big in Japan.
