Updated Announcment.

We would like to thank all players for their keen interest in taking part in the beta test.
However, we regret to inform you that due to extraordinary levels of traffic from all around the globe, we have been unable to run the service to the level we expected.
As a temporary measure, we will be suspending the European public beta test and restart it once we stabilize our server.
We would like to apologize for all inconveniences as well as confusion caused.

We would like to add that due to the above reasons, we will be making the following changes to the schedule:
1) Suspend beta test: As of 25/04/2008 08:00(CEST)
2) Planned for 04/25/2008 24:00(PDT). While the start is planned for the weekend, it may change due to unforseen circumstances.




As you can see, The problem was as we all thought, awfull servers. lol.

I see. That does not sound too good, especially with the release of GTA IV on the horizon. Oh well, I guess we will simply have to wait. Thanks man.

Anyone really like MGO? My brother pre-ordered it and kept boasting about how great he thought it would be (and I didn't doubt it) but he's VERY disappointed. He says it gets better once you get used to the game, but he still is very disappointed and said they fell very short. He also said it has so much potential to be ALOT better but they just didn't do it right.

I watched him play and it looked decent, but I would much rather play Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, RBV2 or Resistance over it anyday. I truly thing that the asian developers have little to no experience in shooters and they just really suck at it. It takes TWO grenades to kill someone... No joke, blow up but you can get right back up. Same with claymores, you can walk right past it, get blown up and keep going. The gameplay feels like Splinter Cell + Halo, you can crawl around like your snake and stuff but it takes alot of shots to kill someone.

I thought it was going to be a mixed style of Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty and Gears of War, But it's not :|

I have nt played it yet but i hope it does nt take 2 grenades to kill someone.

You can walk through your own claymores and it will blow up. Thats not a bad thing, it makes it more realistic but my point is, my brother walked right into his own and he didnt die. He had like 1/3rd of his life left. Same with grenades except he had more life. He also tried to kill people and it wouldn't kill em

I didn't manage to get into a match last night, I was messing around on the training for a bit to see what was what, then when I went to start a game the servers were due for maintenance : /

From what I did get out of it though, it seemed brilliant. That doesn't sound too pleasing about the 2 'nades to kill someone, but I think I'm more looking forward to the single-player rather than the multi-player. I've got COD4 for that I guess. That being said, I am looking forward to the more stealth aspect of multi-player, I think Team Death-matches could prove to be very exciting.

I'll give more when I get some decent play-time in an actual game. So far though, looks good, very good.

Maintenance Information 28/04/2008
Please be made aware that the below features were added during maintenance today:

New Game Rule: Sneaking Mission.
1 player will play as Snake and the remainder will be divided in to 2 teams, Red and Blue. In order for each party to win, you must do the following:
* Snake: Steal a set number of dog tags by stunning or holding up other players.
* Blue and red Teams: The team that takes out Snake within the set amount of time, or the one with the more kills at the end of the game will be crowned winners.

New Stage: Midtown Maelstrom (M.M.)
A stage based in a Middle-Eastern town where MGS4 will be based. It is made up of narrow inter-twining alley ways and passages perfect for anyone with "Tactical Espionage" in mind.

The below problems with the Community Support Page have also been addressed:
* In-game mail couldn't be read.
* Clan Emblems couldn't be displayed.
* Posts by KP and GM accounts were very difficult to read.
