Dragon Quest 8 [DQ8}-PS2

I was wondering if anyone here likes dragon quest? like any of the games in the series. i just have played 8 but i was wondering if anyone else was familar with this game or liked it.

I played the first Dragon Warrior on NES. I think it was one the first RPG games I ever played. I may have played two a few times as well, but I don't really have any experience with any of the newer ones.
