I see, and wheres the classes and tiers for moves. Ex: Sheer Cold and Fissure "are banned".

@FOX: And those stats on the site. Those are basic "what" lvl 50??

I think i'm BL too. Love me Articuno but 1 move is banned..

@Ricky: U used wondertomb nd all wonderteam.. I still won. 1 of the 8 battles neva completed.

Uber-Overpowered pokes that are banned in normal battles due to stats unless both players agree to an uber battle. Example: Mewtwo
OU- Pokes with high stats and valuable uses. Most have invaluable support/sweeping/walling capabilities, but arent quite on par with Ubers. A good place to start. Example: Garchomp

This next tier doesnt officially exist yet, but there are a lot of pokes that belong in it.

Halfway there, same with Strype, except he's off by a certain degree.

Ubers : Obviously Pokemon that are too powerful ("Outclasses") the rest of the Pokemon due to stats, abilities, movepool, etc. etc.

OU : Overused Pokemon, who are typically paired with above average stats, good movepools, etc. Invaluable to almost any standard team.

BL : This is where misconceptions arise. The OU tier is based completely off of usage. Smogon fixes the list of OU Pokemon like every 3 months or so, so a Pokemon that's BL can actually go to OU. It really has nothing to do with stats or whatever.

But anyways, unfortunately, there's no such thing as a BL battle.

Also, those stats are the base stats of said Pokemon, not the actual stats of whatever it is.

As for classes + tiers of moves, no such thing exist. You don't put certain moves into a class, as that's ridiculous and stupid. You do however, put a clause on certain moves.

OHKO Clause : OHKO moves (Guillotine, Horn Drill, Fissure, Sheer Cold) are banned from being used.

Evasion Clause : Enhancing the evasion of a Pokemon voluntarily through the means of such as hold items (Lax Incense, Brightpowder) or moves (Double Team, Minimize, etc.) are banned from being used.

Sleep Clause : Only one Pokemon may be put to sleep purposely. In other words, one sleeping Pokemon at a time. Rest doesn't break this clause.

I believe those are the only ones involved with moves.

theres actually been quite of bit of talk about making garchomp uber but i doubt it will happen. i never use garchomp but his sandstorm hax can get really annoying.

@Bankz-Those numbers on the site are the Base Stats, the stats in which a pokemon grows off of. Ever wonder why Steelix is hard to take down with psychical attacks? 200 (or 180, cant remember) base Defense is beastly.

When you were saying that your pokes' stats never went over 510, you were getting the wrong impression.
The number 510 represents the maximun numbe of Effort Value points, (or EVs) a pokemon can have. EVs are aquired by killing other pokemon.
Ex: If you were to take 2 identical Piplup, and level one of them to 100 with rare candies, and the other by battling, the battling Piplup would be stronger since it got all of the EVs, and the Rare candy Piplup didnt.
It takes 4 EVs of the same type to give 1 stat boost.
Example: You kill 4 Bidoof, and your HP will increase one point.
This can be simplified by using Vitamins such as HP up, but you can only use 10 of one vitamin, so 10 HP ups will give you 100 HP EVs.
Pokerus, that virus yiu may have heard about, doubles your EV earnings (except what you get from vitamins) so now if you kill 4 more Bidoof, you will get 8 HP EVs and therefore receive 2 extra HP points.
The total ammount of EVs one stat can have is 255, but only 252 is necisary because 255 isnt devisable by 4.

I'll explain further if you're still interested.

i believe the reason for keeping blissey ou was so that special sweepers dont start running rampant. special attackers became so powerful this gen that there arent really many options for special walls.

Thats true and the only other decent...ish special wall in OU that I know of is Milotic but the moves it will be walling are mostly moves that can 2HKO her.
Still, Blissey can make or break a team by herself which just seems unfair.

LoL Blissey.... Yea I fully understand bout the EV + Pkrs = Great stats.. But I did not kno that meaning of 510 was that.. So that means stats above 300 or 330 are Ubers?

snorelax, regice and cradily in sand work decently too but nothing really walls better than blissey.

banks: a stat of 300 wont necessarily make a pokemon uber. its when a pokemon has all around high stats and a powerful movepool or some crazy ability that it becomes uber.

Only thing is Blissey can wall ubers, Cradily/Snorlax/Regice cant.

I think what you're saying is correct but Blissey, in my opinion at least, is too much.
I used my Grumpig as a special wall in OU for a while, and it wasnt TOO desasterous.

an uber status isnt based on how well a pokemon can do in the uber metagame. while blissey is annoying it can still be countered in ou.

Eh, the only poke I know that has to resort to Sky Uppercut is Blaziken, and even then, without choice band, I dont think it's OHKOing a max defense Blissey.
Dynamicpunch is used mostly by Machamp because of his "No Guard" ability. It might OHKO her. I'm unable to do damage calcs now.
