New To Pokemon??
So, I have never played a Pokemon game. I don't really know anything about those little Pokemon. I do know that I am a huge fan of Squirtle. Anyway, as far as games goes, where would be a good place for me to start? Is there anything I need to know before I start playing? Do Pokemon like eating tacos?

will you can first check out the first three gen of pokemon if you want, then you can learn the types and the strength and weakness of the types.

My advice would be to go to www.serebii.net... that wil explain a lot of the gaming mechanics around the game. Plus it will show all of the pokemon of all 4 generations...

www.serebii.net gives you in depth information on how to play competitively, how to breed for moves, natures, ivs, how to ev train, how to find out what ev training is  and all that good stuff
definitely a good start if you want to play like me, strype, fox and all the others do.

I think you should go for whatever type you think is best and don't train one pokemon catch a lot of different types and here is the most important thing HAVE FUN and my name is Lelp
