My Chinesse friend says this is the Last generation that is why the pokemon diamond and Pearl episodes are Lagging it

Your ideas look pretty good, but I have to agree with Kirbo, they seem like they're structured from older Pokemon...The ones from your list that I found differ from the ideas of the older generations are the Swordfish-like Pokemon, and the Skeleton Fish pokemon (which almost resembles what the idea for a Water/Ghost type idea myself or someone else mentioned earlier in this thread would look like...The name that was created for it was Skeleswim which evolves into Skelumin).

For those of you who don't know what Marsupials are, they're animals who carry their young in a pouch (Like Kangaskhan), except with Treesupial, it could carry a small plant or shrub in it's pouch, and have boxing gloves on it's hands. It could also bounce off with it's tail and use Hi Jump Kick or another Fighting type kicking move.

Water Starter: Waveranha Pronounced "wave" "ron" "ah"
Waveranha would be the Water starter who's a small piranha fish (like Carvanha). He could evolve into a small shark-like Pokemon called Piranice (combination of the words, "piranha" and "ice"), who could be part Water/Ice. The final form could be a giant Shark Pokemon who's also part Ice type, and would be able to learn powerful Ice moves like Blizzard, along with Water moves like Hydro Pump. It's name would be Shivshark, a combo of "shiver" & "shark".

Fire Starter: Hisskorch Pronounced "hiss" "scorch"
Hisskorch could be a small, firey snake-like Pokemon who looks similar to Ekans. Instead of being a Poison type like many snake Pokemon, Hisskorch would be a Fire type. It would evolve into Hisshot(the words "hiss" & hot" combined), who could gain the Ground type to make it a Fire/Ground type starter, and could learn moves like Dig, and Flame Wheel. It's last stage could be Cobroil (combination of the words "Cobra" and "Boil"). Cobroil would also be part Ground, and would look similar to Arbok except for the Poison type. He could have a flat neck area like Arbok, and on it he could have a giant flame emblem or another firey symbol on it.

Anyone else have any suggestions as to new Starters for a possible 5th Generation of Pokemon?

If you have trouble thinking up good new starter Pokemon, I have a suggestion for a good Water starter to get your gears turning for creativeness...how about a Duck Pokemon as a new Water starter...something like Psyduck.

Yes, there will be a new generation as allways...

But it will take several years to create...

But in those years, there will probably a couple of spin-offs.

After some careful thinking, I've decided to change Cobroil's type combo from Fire/Ground to Fire/Poison.

Since it's a snake-like Pokemon, the Poison type suits it better, and besides, there hasn't been a Fire/Poison type Pokemon before, so it makes Cobroil unique!

I hear that they're creating a remake of the Gold/Silver versions called Dawn Silver and Dusk Gold...and an enhanced version of Diamond/Pearl called Pokemon Opal Version with Giratina as the version mascot...Don't know if THAT'S true or not, but I seriously hope it IS true

Nintendo is the king of recycled ideas, in five years, we are treated to another Mario kart game, not "sequels" but in fact copies of pre existing game that are, still very playable on systems that are currently out.

Nintendo doesn't end a franchise. Look at them all, what Nintendo owned game that has had at least three incarnations has just dissapeared? NONE. And the ones that have ended, were not Nintendo property, but instead made for by private non-in house studios. franchises are being reborn and given fresh life, such as samus after the first smash brothers, fire emblum coming to America after the second, and Kid Icarus will obviously be after the third.

Now then I would like to site some sources to prove that the serise will not end, you see what Im doing here? It's called backing up your claim with proof. Thats right, don't make claims, site your sources, its not like the internet is full of them.

NOW THEN, In order to protect and secure the franchise "and to protect against name squatters" Nintendo has officially copyrighted names of potential games in the future. [Source: Bulbapedia]

Pocketmonster Topaz

These names were secured in Japan, starting in May, so one of these is likely a title for Part 3 of Generation 4, also its worth noting "White Gold" promotes the theory of a Generation 2 remake, however, we have seen the first of the alternate form pokemon, in form of giritina [source: Corro Corro & Girtina/Shaymin movie trailers] and seen information on the posiblity of more alternate forms, as per product adds.

While this does not provide any firmness to the ending of Pokemon, this shows legitimized concern for the contuation of the serise.

Saying things like that will alot of times worry the fans, make them doubt, and cause emotional distress, but unless you have serious proof, serious evidence, then don't show it around here. There are still a few of us that read the transcripts of press conferences, that check the art work, that do our serious investigation, its game to us, finding information before other people. So when you do silly stupid little shit things like that, you infuriates us, that is something, you don't want to do. Really.
