How to Beat Bowser in Bowser's Star Reactor Galaxy?

Anyidea on how to beat Bowser in the Bowser's Star Reactor Galaxy.
Bowser and Mario jump onto a round planet and Bowser keeps punding the ground that generates circular waves.
I've no idea on how to beat him.Do we need to Stomp him?
He is pretty big. Any pointers..

Yeah, once he goes up into the air and pounces down, stand over one of those glass windows so he breaks through it and runs away.

Once he does that, run the OPPOSITE way and once he turns around, spin attack his "red hot" tail.

Once he spins on his back, go the opposite way again and use spin attack on him.
Repeat the process til' you win!
