I have had the game about a month and I have 111 stars with Mario. Some of the levels are pretty hard for me, but I am getting there.

I have around 70 and have stopped playing it as much. I'll probably get all 120 with Mario but i doubt I'll get them all with Luigi.

got 120 last night!!! Hardest was Luigis Purple coins. Just started again with luigi.
