so far the only one I've really had trouble with was that surfing planet... can't recall the name. I have been doing really well everywhere else, but WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT. I always fall off things; that was no exception. spent like 20 lives on just that one part.
Bouldergiest daredevil run. I had a hard time beating it when I had 6 life things. And now 1? This will probably be one of the levels that will keep me from reaching 120 stars.
add mario's 121 and luigis 121 and viola! 242 stars
I do believe it is 241 stars. Mario gets 120 stars, and then you do it all over again with Luigi, but you get an extra star, after Luigi's 120th star, from the Festival of Stars mission.

I play the game only about 2 to 3 hours a week and have 48 stars now (I know, i know I am slow ). The worst that galaxy so far for me is Sweet Sweet galaxy...i have tried it more than 50 times and STILL DO NOT HAVE the star
The one that I am stuck on right now is the Purple coins of Toy Time. That level must have come from the devil.
If that's the one where you're collecting the coins on the giant 8-Bit mario, then yeah. That one took me days to beat. And now I'll have to beat it again with Luigi...

LUIGI'S PURPLE COINS OMG I HATED THAT ONE, it took me 5 days to get it and now i gotta do that with luigi ARRGHH
I have 118 stars ... and Luigi's Purple Coins is one of the two I haven't been able to defeat (I've only tried it three times).

luigi's purple coins is definately the hardest!! I had 70 lives when i went into it and when i finally got all 100 coins where do they put the stupid star....at the begining!!! needless to say i got pissed and turned the thing off.....I'm gonna have to go back and do it again tomarrow

yeah luigis purple coins was hard but it you think it out its really not THAT difficult (no offense to anybody)
i managed to beat it in about 4 tries, cause you dont have to get EVERY coin in the level, there are 150 ( i think) coins on that entire level, which means you can leave 50 just floating there. only go for the large clusters, REMEMBER WHERE YOUVE BEEN (most important part), and pick up a few solitary coins along the way.
now in my opinion, i sucked hardcore at the matter splatter galaxy, ugh, i died at LEAST 20 times there.
