Sorry, but I just had to put this in. Personally, this is for younger kids, because of the stories that they tell you through it. It's like 50% Story line! Personally, i'm glad I only rented it, because the $61.99 that they wanted for new, is unnessesary. I got to the moom that requires 3 stars, but it still is boring, and is mostly story line!

Yeah, this topic is practically an open, outright, troll. Just because you may not like story lines doesn't mean the game sucks. In my opinion, a good story line makes a game.

For any further use towards you, all Mario games have story lines, please stop playing them.

Super game, all my family and friends agree, and I'm 25, my friends are 22-29 and my brother is 22. None of us are under 16 and we don't think it's for kiddies, the gameplay is amazing, who cares it's bright and colourful! Less gloom for once!

I don't mind at all that you don't like the game, but saying that it's "mostly story line" is completely inaccurate.

MAYBE you could make that argument with the dialog-heavy Super Paper Mario, but not Galaxy.

Plus, you don't even have to go in the room where the story is being told. So essentially, the only time the story comes into play is right at the beginning and right at the end.

But judging from your spelling, I can see why you wouldn't enjoy reading.

You pretty much have to expect the same cliche, re-hashed story in all of Mario's main platform games:

1) Bowser kidnaps Peach
2) Bowser starts his plan to conquer/rule [a specified land mass/location]
3) Mario must go on a wacky adventure to save Peach, and stop Bowser.

But for what it's worth, I personally thought Z&W, and Lego Star Wars were - overall - better games.

I thought it was quite a good game because the level design. The story only lasted through half the game, yes that was dissapointing.

I find the game old school and refreshingly new at the same time.

Great game design and play.

But it has charm.

I believe it is an awesome game, though the beginning of it is the most boring part of it. If that was all you played than I understand why you say it's for little kids, but later on it gets sort of challenging to actually beat the whole game not just the storyline.

this game in no way is only for people 16 and under. just because a game is amde for a larger market, doesnt mean its only for kids. just because it doesnt have violence doesnt make it for only kids. you will be surprised how many people over 20 play mario because they remember the good old days when his first game came out.

my uncle owns a 360 and is abviously jelous of the wii. he bandmouths it all the time saying it has bad graphics and bad games. mario leaves him speechless. no one can hate mario. you know you dont hate mario @_@.
