I was a little skeptical too at first I'll admit, but the game gets better and better the more you play it.

pretty much.. the beautiful space levels, the gravity, tons of other great levels too, you just need to get farther in the game to appreciate it

This is one of the very few brilliant Wii games out there. if you don't like it then you should really get another console, or go casual. Seeing as you've played two levels, I think going casual is your best offer.
It was a freaking stunner of a game.
But redoing it isn't for me.

This game is too tough to be boring. Yes, there are some easy section. But there are some tough ones as well. I think maybe you are one of these people who can get through games easily. My little nephew is like that. I struggle and he wins on his first or second try. So he gets bored. I died like 12times in the first Bowser battle. And most people say it was too easy. And I died about 20 times before I made it through the Sweet Sweet Galaxy. Don't get me started on Bubble Breeze Galaxy.

Its not short, easy or repetitive gettin 120. Its about the hardest game there is if you do.

I have to agree with the OP, I got bored pretty quickly.
I'm usually a fan of Mario games too, this one however just didn't seem to keep me playing, and it seemed like everytime I started playing I couldn't think of any reasons to continue.
Go to a planet, get an easy star, go home, repeat. Yippee.
eBay is the answer.

I think the complaints of too easy are a little harsh. I'm sure if you went back and played Mario 64 you could breeze through the stars in that as well for the most part. You have to realize that it has to appeal to all ages and that you have gotten better or are better at video games than after playing them for years. Someone picking up SMG as their first mario game is going to be blown away by it.

I, too, found the first two levels very boring, but they're just tutorial levels. They're expected to be boring. Keep playing, and it will get really fun once you have a few more galaxies and maybe another dome unlocked.

Yeah, i loved SMG, it was so fun i was playing it for at least 2 weeks strait.
and another thing that (people like me appreciate) is the quality of the the levels and how amazing they look, the music, and how the game was created to appeal to children, adults, and teenagers. I was furious when my friend played it for two levels and said "this is gay, wheres halo?"
i was like "WTF!?!?!"
and yeah, there are some levels that are like "okay, what was that?" but there are others that make you want to scream at the game and say "HECK YES! I BEAT YOU *****!!!!!"
I also thought the bowser battlers were interesting and always fun.
