Controlling super spring mario

Can it be done? Can you make him jump when you want him to, or does he just surprise you once in awhile?

I can't get the spring Mario to jump when I want him to. Seems like he kind of has a mind of his own.

I've never seen spring mario, and I beat the game, what galaxy can you play as him?

One or two of the Toy Time levels, it might have been in other galaxies too.

Spring Mario was the worst. Pain in the ass, should have never been in the game.

Yes he was a pain, course after I post the message I get back on and managed to get through the last one. Discovered you have to be pretty exact hitting the "A" button when Mario comes down to do the high jump.

Yeah, I had a time controlling him too. If you don't hit the A button right before he comes back up it won't work.

I just did the Matter Splatter galaxy with Spring Mario and that part was a PitA.

I honestly hate spring mario. Nintendo programmed it badly because whenever I press A he sometimes never jumps.
