Stuck in Prologue of Chap. 7

I have managed to get into the "Underwhere" and I am trying to get into the second door. I am to the point where you have to flip into 3-D to follow the path to get around the tubes. I must just stink at jumping or I am doing something completely wrong. I cannot get across the "chasm" to the left side from the right. Is there something I'm not doing. I can't seem to jump that far.

I figured it out. I was to far ahead in the level than what I needed to be. Thanks!
